Nusabrita.com, Pangkep – The Indonesian Mosque Youth Communication Agency (BKPRMI) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the growth and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). At the launch of the Hands-On Entrepreneurs (TDA) program in Pangkep Regency, the Regional Executive Board (DPD) of BKPRMI Pangkep Regency conducted a socialization of halal certification assistance for business actors at the Pangkep Regent’s Official Residence (07/09/2025).
This activity is a follow-up to the Halal Certification Companion training previously held by the South Sulawesi Regional Board of the Indonesian Muslim Community Empowerment Agency (BKPRMI) in collaboration with Rabbani. Through this program, BKPRMI aims to ensure that MSMEs in Pangkep have access to and appropriate support in obtaining halal certification, thereby increasing their product acceptance in the wider market.
The General Chairperson of the Pangkep Regency BKPRMI DPD, Lalu Muliadi, S.Pd.I., M.Pd, emphasized that halal certification is currently not just a label, but a strategic need for business actors in increasing competitiveness and consumer trust.
“BKPRMI is here to provide assistance so that MSMEs don’t experience difficulties in the certification process. By collaborating with TDA, we hope that more Pangkep entrepreneurs will be able to compete nationally and even internationally,” he said.
The participants welcomed the activity. They believed the assistance offered by BKPRMI would be very helpful, especially for MSMEs unfamiliar with halal certification regulations and mechanisms.
Through synergy between BKPRMI and the TDA community, it is hoped that more local MSME products will be certified halal. This will not only strengthen Muslim consumer confidence but also open up significant opportunities for Pangkep MSMEs to advance and penetrate the global market.
